3:15 SWIMFIT CREW
3:15 SwimFit Crew athletes are at least 4 years old and begin learning the “do’s and don’ts” of pool safety. From properly getting in and out of the pool to being comfortable with putting their faces in the water, these swimmers will begin to understand all things TKA.

3:45 SWIMFIT CREW3:45 SwimFit Crew athletes continue learning the “do’s and don’ts” of pool safety. In this class, freestyle kicking is further developed while freestyle arms are introduced with the goal of getting across the pool quickly and efficiently. Athletes are introduced to basic dry-land body weight movements such as squats, push-ups, lunges and sit-ups. While the goal is to improve freestyle drills and techniques, the breaststroke kick is introduced at this level. Swimmers will learn to swim more than one lap at a time without losing stroke ability, speed, or efficiency.

4:25 SWIMFIT CREW4:25 SwimFit Crew athletes continue building on basic dry-land techniques. At this level breaststroke drills and techniques are improved upon and both the butterfly and backstroke are introduced. Several times per week athletes complete a special “Workout of the Day” (WOD).

5:05 SWIMFIT CREW5:05 SwimFit Crew athletes move on to advanced dry-land techniques while all 4 strokes are further improved upon. At this level running is integrated into the training. Also, the concepts of body awareness and mental focus are emphasized in order to increase performance. Several times per week athletes complete a special “Workout of the Day” (WOD). Class meets Fridays at 4:25 p.m. for Family Friday.

6:00 SWIMFIT CREW6:00 SwimFit Crew consists of middle schoolers, high schoolers, and young adults. These athletes continue to fine-tune freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly drills and techniques. The concepts of body awareness and mental focus are further explained and developed. At this level running and advanced dry-land movements are built upon. Athletes complete a special “Workout of the Day” (WOD) every day. Class meets Fridays at 4:25 p.m. for Family Friday.
